Money, benefits and wellbeing support
Customers tell us they are finding things tough at the moment. Here you can find support and tips on saving money on the things that matter to you.
Monthly money saving ideas
Hi, I'm Josh. I'm part of the financial inclusion team here at Home Group. We give customers free, one to one support on all money matters.
Here are some ideas to help you manage your money this month:
- Winter is coming
With the weather well and truly feeling like Winter is approaching, you are probably thinking of turning your central heating on. Energy bills are a big worry for many people, so have a look at our energy saving tips and get energy-savy to keep those costs down. - Check your energy Direct Debit
If you can, paying by Direct Debit for your energy can be cheaper. Direct Debits are based on an estimate of your energy usage. If it’s wrong, you can end up over or underpaying each month. Here’s how to check yours is right and what to do if you think it isn’t.
Our Financial Inclusion Manager, Zara Kelly, found she had been paying the wrong amount for her energy bills and requested a refund of over £500! - Cost of living support this Winter
Find out what support is available to you this Winter, including the Winter Fuel Payment and energy support schemes. - We're here to help
